Welcome to The Arts Society Wokingham

The Arts Society Wokingham meets on the fourth Thursday of every month (except in August and December) at Newbold College, Binfield to listen to talks covering all aspects of the arts including painting, theatre, music, architecture and photography. Our lecturers are all experts in their field, authoritative, and entertaining public speakers. Click here to go to the Lectures section for further details.

Why not give us a try - come along to our next lecture - it will only cost you £6

The Society organizes group visits to a wide variety of places of historic and artistic interest as well as organising regular Study Days which cover topics in more depth. These Study Days are held locally. Click here to see more details about our visits and click here for more information about our Special Interest/Study Days.

One of the Society’s aims is to get involved in community projects which will make a difference to young lives - helping and encouraging young people to expand their horizons and realise their personal potential through involvement in creative arts activities. Click here to see details of previous  Young Arts projects.

We also have an established Church Recording Group which has nearly completed its first project at St James Finchampstead.
