Welcome to The Arts Society Wokingham

Founded in 2014, The Arts Society Wokingham meets on the fourth Thursday of every month (except in August and December) to listen to talks covering all aspects of the arts including painting, theatre, music, architecture and photography. Our lecturers are all experts in their field, authoritative, and entertaining public speakers.  Go to the Lectures section for further details.

The Society organizes group visits to a wide variety of places of historic and artistic interest as well as organising regular Study Days which cover topics in more depth. These Study Days are held locally. More details are available in the Visits and Special Interest/Study Days sections.

We have recently sponsored pupils from Bulmershe school to take their musical 'That Emperor's Fool' to the Edinburgh Fringe - see Young Arts page for more details.

We have an established Church Recording Group working on a project at St James Finchampstead.
