Have you ever passed the door to an Oxford college, seen the sign “closed to visitors”, and wondered what it’s like in there?
Now is your opportunity to find out. Join us for a behind the scenes visit to The Queen’s College Oxford. The College was founded in 1341 and, as one of the oldest Oxford colleges, has a fascinating history.
We will begin our tour with lunch in the magnificent dining hall after which our guide will take us to see the gardens, the medieval accommodation, the chapel and the library (including the upper library, reputedly one of the most beautiful rooms in Oxford).
You will need to make your own way to the College, which is on the High Street in Oxford, beside Queen’s Lane.
If you are travelling by train then catch the X5 bus from Oxford station. Alteratively of you are driving then catch the 400 bus from Thornhill Park and Ride.
Places are limited to 25.
The cost is £43 per person including a 2 course lunch with tea or coffee.
